Casey Goralski Finishes Among County’s Leading Lax Goal Scorers

Elwood-John H. Glenn High School senior athlete Casey Goralski had a memorable final lacrosse season this spring, finishing tied for fourth in goals in Suffolk County with 56.

“I had to step up this year because we lost a lot of seniors last year, and I was put in a position I don’t usually play,” said Goralski, who was shifted from attack to midfield. “I had to take things into my own hands and work with my team a little bit more and try to be the main guy.

Goralski worked hard to become a well-rounded student and athlete.

“I just developed a strong mindset throughout all the years I played sports,” Goralski said. “I never gave up and kept working and getting stronger.”

“I was very impressed with him over his career, which has been tremendous,” Athletic Director Dave Shanahan said.

Goralski will continue his lacrosse career at Belmont Abbey College this fall.
